Pedicures are used to keep feet and toenails healthy. During this process a device called a pedicure tub is used. The clients use the tubs to soak their feet. After client these tubs need to be properly cleaned and disinfected. If this is not done, the next client spread from one client to the next.

1 Drain all of the water from the pedicure tub. Don't leave any water.

2 Pour water in the basin and squeeze in 2 tbsp. of liquid soap. Scrub the entire inside of the pedicure tub. Using a sterile brush to do this. Once you're done cleaning bath, drain out the soapy water.

3 Rinse the tub out with fresh water.

4 Fill the tub up with water and add a EPA registered disinfectant. This is the most important part. Do not use a general disinfectant. It must be an EPA registered disinfectant that is made for pedicure tubs.

5 Circulate the water and disinfectant in the tub for ten minutes.

6 Drain tub again. Rinse with clean water. Finish the cleaning process by drying out the inside foot tub. If you use a towel, you should wash immediately afterwards. The best way is to use a paper towel that you can throw away.
